Back in high school, my best friend and I became addicted to RPGMaker 2000 and some of our best and rated PG-13 exploits involve the planning and storyboarding of our very own RPG. I did the scripting and most...of...the work...and we planned together, made maps, and so on. Because I wanted it to be the very best, it took us a good year and a half or so to make three towns, and real life got a hold of us and we basically abandoned the project as is. (I took it up again to write my novel series with, but that's another story).
A couple of years ago, after I finished writing the first draft of the first book of my fantasy series, I excitedly told him that I wanted to pursue an Eragon RPG instead. I realized I probably, as usual, would not have the time to layout the towns and script game events, but it was a fun idea to write the script for it.
