Plagiarism

One of the loudest complaints amongst Inheritance critics is that the books plagiarize other fantasy authors. Because this topic is so broad, we have broken down our arguments for each instance of plagiarism that we feel Christopher Paolini is responsible for.

Lord of the Rings (Tolkien)
Dragonriders of Pern (McAffrey)
The Belgariad (Eddings)
Dune (Herbert)
StarWars (Lucas)
A Wizard of Earthsea (Le Guin)

Please note: we understand that plagiarism is a very serious accusation, and it is one that we do not make lightly. In cases where the the technical term, "plagiarism," does not apply, we still believe that Christopher Paolini has borrowed the intellectual property of others and passed it off as his own, which, again, is a serious accusation, and one that we treat with utmost solemnity.
